At the recent NHBC Pride in the Job Awards the NHBC inspector quoted our Site Manager, Nigel Smith as being,
“Obsessed with high standards and his attention to detail is impeccable!”
Nigel won a Pride in the Job Quality Award, a Seal of Excellence and he was also crowned the Regional Winner for the Small Builder category in the North East which means he will be going to the Supreme Awards in London in January 2022.
Having won the Supreme Award twice in 2017 and 2018 for his work at St Pauls Lock in Mirfield we at Darren Smith Homes are very proud of Nigel and all his team. The NHBC Pride in the Job award is the ultimate housebuilders accolade with the supreme award being described as the house building industries equivalent of Olympic Gold!
No pressure for Nigel in January although his dedication to raising standards and ensuring that the quality and detail that his team produce are of the finest standard every working day.
